Doublin’ Up for Apologies

Hey there Peaches!!
I know, I know, you don’t have to tell me… I was slackin on my updatin! That’s what happens when you deal with drinkers like myself! haha!!

So as an apology for not giving you some recipes for a couple weeks, I will give you 2 drinks today!! These are 2 recipes that are sooo simple and can be ordered easily at a bar. We all know how important it is to order your drink quickly in Atlanta. Some of the club bartenders almost look upset when you have a drink that has more than 3 ingredients! Or is that just me??

Drink #1:
Peach Spritzer

(you know I had to keep with the Peach thing) This is one of my favorite things to drink when I’m out because of the balance of sweet, sour, and fizz. Here it goes…

Ingredients:

1 part Bacardi Peach Rum
2 -3 parts (to taste/preference) Ginger Ale
1-4 (to taste/preference) Rose’s Sweetened Lime Juice

Instructions:
Put cubed ice in an old fashioned glass (or the 9oz plastic cups). Pour the rum first, then the lime juice, then the ginger ale. Stir gently with cocktail straw. Enjoy!!

**Honey Note… This recipe tastes good with pretty much ANY flavored rum (Especially DragonBerry) or Tequila.. just try it!!**

Drink #2
Cream Pop
The Captain is by far one of my favorite drinking buddies! This drink recipe just gives the standard “Cap’n & Coke” an extra yum that kind of reminds me of cream soda with a kick.

Ingredients:
1 part Captain Morgan’s Rum
1 part Ginger Ale
1 Part Coca Cola

Instructions: Combine all ingredients in an old fashioned glass, stir gently with cocktail straw.
